On a sunny September day in 1989, a little over 200 tiny teary 10 year olds walked through the gates of Aburi Girls Secondary school.
It was soon clear to all that we were unique in so many ways; the last batch of the old system, the largest group ever admitted in the school, we were a mix of dynamic pioneers thrown into a new era.
We learnt to be each others keeper, to work hard at everything we do and keep a strong visible sense of integrity.
We walked out 5-7 years later as beautiful confident young women.
Today we have amongst us renowned Doctors, Lawyers, Engineers, Marketers, Entrepreneurs and Economists amongst many professions.
Through it all we have kept one bond and we remain united and committed to strengthening the sisterhood that started over 25yrs ago.
